Acquiring a leader in modular buildings

AVDanzer, widely recognized for providing high-quality modular and temporary buildings for sale or hire, has supported major UK infrastructure projects like the Hinkley Point nuclear power station and the London Power Tunnels Project. The company also serves schools, hospitals, sports facilities, laboratories, and offices, helping organizations quickly scale up capacity with both temporary and permanent building solutions.

A shared commitment to quality and service

David Wernick, Group Chairman of Wernick Group said: "We have a strong admiration for Danzer’s manufacturing capability and products. Both of our companies share the same values of excellent customer service, outstanding product quality, and a focus on safety."

Wernick expressed enthusiasm about the future, welcoming AVDanzer's team and looking forward to expanding the business further.

Danzer's legacy of agility and innovation

Dan Holloway, Director of AVDanzer, added: "We’ve always prided ourselves on our agility and innovation, adapting to changing market conditions. Our success is a testament to the skill and dedication of our staff, and we believe Wernick Group is the right partner to help us continue to grow."

What the acquisition means for both companies

While the terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, AVDanzer will continue to operate from its sites in Manchester and Langley Mill, with the anti-vandal steel manufacturing division maintaining the AVDanzer name. The Brentwood depot will be absorbed into Wernick’s existing locations in Essex and Kent. Helen Webster will also stay on with the business.

A bright future ahead

The acquisition signals a win-win for both Wernick and AVDanzer, with the combined strengths of both businesses set to enhance their service offerings and industry reach.

The Danzer shareholders were advised by CapEQ and HCR Law. Wernicks was advised by Burness Paull.

James Pugh, Director at CapEQ, who advised on the deal, remarked:
"The tie-up with Wernick is a real win-win for staff, customers, and suppliers. We are excited to see how both companies will continue to thrive together."
