Who we are

CapEQ is a mergers and acquisitions advisory boutique: a small, specialist firm that guides founders through the sale of the business they have built, as well as acquisitions, growth, and transaction support.

For most of our clients, selling a company built over 20 or 30 years is a life event, not just a financial transaction. That shapes how we work, and who we work with.

We are also a certified B Corp. A B Corp (Certified B Corporation) is a business independently assessed against social, environmental, and governance standards, so our commitments to our people, our clients, and the wider world are verified, not self-declared.

We were the first M&A boutique in Europe to earn it.

Everyone is set up to work from home, with team meetings and office days in Reading to encourage collaboration and check in on each other's wellbeing.

Internships

We regularly receive requests for internships from business and finance students.

Although we would love to offer on-the-job training and structured career development, our boutique set-up means we aren't able to realistically support internships or apprenticeships. We'd rather be straightforward about that than offer a placement we can't support properly.

CapEQ's office is near Reading, Berkshire, close to junction 12 of the M4. The team works on a hybrid basis: everyone is set up to work from home, and we come together for team meetings and office days to collaborate and check in on each other's wellbeing.
