Reforesting Scotland to boost biodiversity

CapEQ has backed the Ecologi initiative to invest in The Future Forest Company’s
project to create new woodlands, ponds, and enhance wetland and wildflower
meadows in Scotland.

Just outside Stirling, the 1200-acre (480ha) Dumyat project has already planted
more than 340,000 trees to extend woodland habitat networks - boosting bird
populations and reintroduce native species of plants and flowers.

Dumyat is now home for an array of wildlife including the heath-spotted orchid,
common rockrose, brown argus butterfly, red kite and red squirrel. 🐿

Ecologi has backed Future Forest Company on our behalf to plant several
broadleaf and Scots pine saplings to help combat climate change.

The trees were planted on 28 May and are doing well.
