Yell Communications sold to First Artist

Sports marketing and event management agency Yell Communications has been acquired by First Artist PLC in a transaction advised by Mark Sapsford.

Founded in 1996 by former Shell Fuels regional account manager Andrew Yell, the agency specialises in supporting financial services clients deliver corporate events in the sports world.

First Artist PLC is a London-based corporate events agency which pioneered large-scale Christmas parties for corporate clients.

Mark Sapsford advised the shareholders of Yell Communications on the sale.

Andrew went on to found one of the UK’s first car sales comparison sites MyCarQuotes from 2007-11, and has continued in business working in a variety of senior roles.
