Family firm finds new family buyer
Family-run Australian construction contractor Ahrens expanded its fit-out capabilities with the acquisition of East Coast-based firm A&P Parkes Constructions.
Established in 1985, Parkes built a reputable name in New South Wales and Victoria states, notably in the retail banking sector overseeing refurbs and fitouts.
Ahrens is a fifth generation construction, manufacturing and engineering group delivering industrial and commercial buildings for the farming, mining, material handling, and other sectors.
Mark Sapsford in UK and Richard Barlow in Sydney advised the shareholders of A&P Parkes.
