CapEQ has been shortlisted for an M&A industry accolade after judges recognised the B-Corp corporate finance boutique’s innovative ways of working and high standards

The M&A specialist’s influential role in advising on the sale of neuro-developmental support clinic Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre to Salisbury-based Clinical Partners was singled out as one of six standout transactions in the Thames Valley Deal Awards 2023.

Oxford ADHD founder Dr Polly Branney explains the rationale for the sale.

“As a small independent clinic facing rising demand, it became clear that we could be more effective if we were part of a bigger group organisation who will invest in growth and training. Clinical Partners is the perfect fit for us, and I wish everyone well on the next chapter of Oxford ADHD’s mission.”

CapEQ Partner Mark Sapsford, who advised Oxford ADHD’s shareholders on the sale, commented: “Although we have completed larger deals and international transactions in recent months, the sale of Oxford ADHD stands out because of the complex negotiations and ensuring the smooth transition for patients and staff.

“We are delighted to have been shortlisted, and are looking forward to attending to congratulate all the winners across all categories.”

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Reading on 23 Nov 2023, and all the finalists can be found here.
