CapEQ’s partner, Douglas Edmunds, will take centre stage as one of the key judges at the Thames Valley Deals Awards 2024.
This prestigious event, organized by The Business Magazine, is the highlight of the corporate finance calendar in the region.
The Thames Valley Deals Awards brings together a wide range of top professionals, including corporate finance advisers, lawyers, bankers, private equity investors, and accountants. It’s also an opportunity for management teams behind some of the most important deals in the region to shine.
Douglas Edmunds is joined on the judging panel by a trio of esteemed experts: Susan Elliott from the British Business Bank, Peter Jacobs from Apiary Capital, and Jeremy Hill from SG Kleinwort Hambros. Together, they will assess the best in corporate finance across 13 categories, with a focus on private equity, due diligence, and legal excellence.
Adding a dash of entertainment to the event, TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith will host the evening. Known for his dynamic presentation style, Durden-Smith has a wealth of experience hosting major sports programs, including Channel 5's Aviva Premiership and Sky’s BAFTA-winning rugby coverage. His presence promises to elevate the night’s celebrations.
The winners will be announced during a glamorous black-tie dinner at Reading Football Stadium on November 7. The evening is set to be a major networking and celebration event for the region's corporate finance elite.
