CapEQ strengthens M&A expertise with new corporate finance manager

Ethical corporate finance boutique CapEQ has expanded its team by appointing Vera Littova as Corporate Finance Manager. The hire comes as Europe’s first B-Corp-certified corporate advisor continues to grow its presence in the M&A space.

Vera Littova joins from Wilson Partners

Vera brings a wealth of experience from her previous role at chartered accountancy firm Wilson Partners. She will focus on financial analysis and forecasts, boosting CapEQ’s capacity to support clients with more comprehensive services.

Expanding CapEQ’s capabilities

Founded in 2020, CapEQ has grown rapidly, now employing a team of 12 and advising on several high-profile M&A transactions. Notable deals include the sale of fintech Paycircle to Access Group in the UK, the sale of EU research consultancy PPMI to Kantar Public in Lithuania, and the acquisition of Polish automation software firm Automate Now by DAX-listed Beta Systems.

A unique culture in M&A

Vera noted the distinct culture at CapEQ: “There are many M&A advisors in the Thames Valley, but the vibe at CapEQ is completely different. My first days here have been enjoyable, and the technology they use behind the scenes really streamlines the process, making things easier for everyone.”

She also highlighted CapEQ’s commitment to charitable initiatives, adding:
“The team is enthusiastic about supporting charities, so my passion for long-distance cycling might come in handy for future fundraising efforts.”

Preparing for Growth in 2024

CapEQ co-founder James Pugh explained the strategic importance of Vera’s hire as the firm gears up for a busy 2024:
“With a strong pipeline of client work, Vera is the first of several key hires to help us meet growing demand. Her expertise in vendor due diligence will be especially valuable, helping us mitigate risks, speed up the sales process, and maximise value for our clients.”

James added that each new team member brings fresh capabilities, ensuring CapEQ remains at the cutting edge of M&A advisory services.
